I don't have a photograph of Al Holder. We were not friends and not close. But he was married to my good friend Gale for 27 years. Al is fighting his last battle with Alzheimers and has already lived longer than a man should after the medicos have taken him off his medication, food and water. The human body is amazing and Al is proving that humans are actually hard to kill. Alzheimers is a frightening disease because we know so little about it. And we don't have any way to tell which one of us is going to get it. You have admire a man who clings so tenaciously to life. God speed Al. We will be seeing you.
